About Luis S
Luis Samuel is an award winning Illustrator, Art Director and Graphic Designer with 19 years of experience in Advertising. He was born in Puerto Rico, where he grew up reading comic books, watching movies and animation. His favorite subjects are gothic horror, mythology, fantasy, folklore, sci-fi and history. He graduated from International Fine Arts College in Miami FL with a degree in Computer Animation. After graduating he returned to Puerto Rico where he began his career as a graphic designer.
Aside from being a guild member he is also an active collaborator with Panico Press and RBA Comics in NY, working on several projects and building the RBA brand.
He currently lives in an old house in Stamford CT, surrounded by tons of horror novels, art books, movies, graphic novels, statues, toys and a voodoo doll name Lola.
