Biography:
Margot
Apple has been illustrating
children's books for nearly 30 years. She has done close to
60 books. She is best known as the illustrator of the "Sheep"
series written by Nancy Shaw. Margot would prefer to be known
for her work in Blanket and Brave Martha, which she wrote and
illustrated, and for her new picture books with other writers,
especially Jesse Haas, an author for whom she has great admiration.
Margot lives in New England with her dear husband, Mr. Smith,
where they enjoy a quiet life and the company of their horses
and cats.
