Nancy Sippel Carpenter has illustrated children’s books for Random House, Ottenheimer Publishers, Boyds Mills Press and Grosset & Dunlap. As a free-lance artist she has also illustrated for Renaissance Greeting Cards, PawprintsGreeting Cards, American Bible Society, and the Daily Hampshire Gazette. Along with WMIG, she belongs to the Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators, and two small Northampton writing groups. As another artistic expression she designs and sews cloaks and shawls for “Wings of Light” in Shelburn Falls, and “Goddess of the Seven Sisters” in Northampton, MA.
