Anna Dewdney
Anna Dewdney illustrated books for both children and adults for years, but now writes and illustrates picture books. Anna lives in Vermont with her two daughters and teaches at a boarding school. Her first picture book, LLAMA LLAMA RED PAJAMA (Viking '05), about a little llama who has trouble going to sleep, was a BookSense Summer 2005 Pick, and Kirkus Reviews wrote, "Dewdney's tale is bound to be a comical classic oft-requested at bedtime." GRUMPY GLORIA (Viking '06), her second book, is about a bulldog who is having a really bad day, missing her best friend. Two more books about LLAMA LLAMA are following soon, in Spring '07 and Fall '07.
